In this film, we meet the doctor Marianne and her colleague, the nurse Tor. Neither of them is looking for a conventional relationship. One evening when Marianne is on her way home by boat after a date, she meets Tor who spends the nights on the ferry where he cruises after other men. When Marianne hears Tor talk about the casual proximity and conversations that can arise in connection with cruising, she begins to consider whether this could also be an option for her.
