Film and media scientist Monica Mecsei will look at how different perspectives on historical and cultural points of view establish different types of meeting points that weave together past and present. Monica Mecsei will give a lecture and show a program with Sami films by Elle Sofe Sara and Sara Margrethe Oskal. This collection of recent films reflects on Sami identity. Elle Sofe Sara is a festival artist at the Festival in Northern Norway in 2021. Elle Sofe will be in conversation online as part of the event.
