Hanne Hammer Stien

Hanne Hammer Stien is Professor of Art History at the Academy of Arts, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. She researches northern art and visual culture with a focus on photographic practices, museology and curatorial practice, and the field of contemporary art. Stien had a longer period and practice as a critic, she curates regular exhibitions and art projects, and she has a number of positions within the art field.

Hanne Hammer Stien is participating in AMIFF 2024 as moderator for the panel debate at Vardobaiki Sami Centre, after the performance Our Time is Now on November 9th.
