Egil Pedersen

The Sami director Egil Pedersen grew up in a small village in Eastern Finnmark. He made his first films, Lego and plasticine animations, as an early teenager with his father's Super 8 film camera. In 2002, he completed his degree as a director at the Norwegian Film School. He has directed 19 music videos, 15 short films, commercials, commissioned films and in 2024 his first feature film, Biru Unjárga – Føkkings Nesseby, where he is director and screenwriter.
