John Arvid Berger

John Arvid Berger (b. 1962) is based in Tromsø and has more than 30 years of experience with film production in various roles, genres and formats. He started in 1996 jabfilm and the first digital / non-linear editing studio in northern Norway. Today he runs the production company Polarfox AS. For the last 15 years he has worked mainly as a producer with a focus on creative documentaries and international co-productions.

Participates this year at AMIFF with Rekonstruksjon Utøya as a Norwegian co-producer and arranges a conversation with some of the film's actors after screening. The conversation opens up for dialogue with the audience and revolves around topics such as; processing of traumatic experiences, how to counter radicalization and the creative choices and tools in this award-winning film. more info at www.rekonstruksjonutoya.no
